I have recently gotten a new “precious”, my LG9100 eNV2 phone. Here are some photos I’ve taken with it:

Old B & Ws of Leroy

March 20th, 2008

My friend, Carrie Salazar, recently sent me these old pics she had taken of Leroy, and her daughter Ruby, who were born within a month of each other. They look like they are from Spring/Summer of 1999, and are just gorgeous. Carrie was taking a class on B&W photography (non-digital) and darkroom work at UC Berkeley, where she went to school and now works. Thank you Carrie, these are a treasure…

More of Leroy with Cousins

Here is a VoiceThread of Leroy and his cousins discussing Pokemon characters. Jake didn’t participate due to lack of interest…

This summer while I was traveling with family up to Eugene, OR,  I took a class on making flip book movies (stop-action). I had to do a project as homework. Rather than doing it on my own, I worked with my nephews to create some movies. Here they are:

These are videos done by the six year old twins. I pulled in the pics, and added sound, but the kids set up the pictures and made the choices on sound. The second video by Aaron is very impressive because of the detail of movement.

Here is the video done by their older brother:

I’m proud of there work, and now I know you can do some form of this even with six year olds.
